Streets Of Rage Wiki

"On the diamond you'll meet Big Ben, a baseball fan who looks like he's had far too many chili dogs. Clean his clock and watch that fiery breath! A secret elevator takes you to an underground arena where winner takes all!"

Stadium is the fourth stage from Streets of Rage 2.

Details[]

After leaving the Amusement Park, which is still visible in the background, you arrive at Sega Stadium. Fight your way through to the entrance, the thugs waiting to stop you consisting mostly of Galsias, Signals, and Donovans. Pipes and knives can be found both in trash cans and in the hands of Donovans and Galsias. At the stadium entrance, a Hakuyo named Koshu will try to block your entrance. Defeating him will allow you to proceed into the stadium. A nearby trash can contains a healing apple or two if you need it.

Once on the field, fight your way through more groups of Galsias, Donovans, and Signals. At the halfway mark, you'll encounter two Electras named Sug. Q and Metal. M. Defeat them and continue on. Just past them is the pitcher's mound. A set of boxes here contain another healing apple or two. On the mound, you'll have your first encounter with Big Ben, who, depending on your difficulty and/or number of players, may be backed up by Big-Go. Defeat all the enemies here, and the pitcher's mound will suddenly descend.

As the pitcher's mound is descending, thugs will drop in from above and attack. Be especially mindful of the Hakuyos who will often drop in with flying kicks that will knock you down. The tight space here makes throws especially viable, as throwing one thug will cause them to crash through multiple more and increase the damage dished out. After fighting through four waves of enemies, the elevator comes to a stop.

You emerge into an underground fight pit, where Abadede eagerly awaits his chance to avenge his defeat in the first Streets of Rage. His running lariat now follows up with a powerful upper cut, and he has several more moves at his disposal, including a flying splash, a punch combo, and a defensive counter that he can use to break your own combos. If he grabs you, he will either slam you with a wrench from the front or use a devastating German suplex if he grabs you from behind. Ignore the crowd cheering his every move and focus on beating him down. Turkeys are available if your health is low. Defeat Abadede to proceed to Ship.

Duel Mode[]

The battle takes place in the underground fight pit where Abadede is fought. No weapons are available here.

Trivia[]
