Goro is an enemy introduced in Streets of Rage 4.
Details
Goro is a bald karateka wearing a white gi, first appearing as a mini-boss in the sixth stage. He never attacks the player directly, assuming a stance before launching an attack. If he backs-off with his back arm on a vertical position he will proceed to launch one of his two attacks, a dashing strike or a close range flurry of punches (in Dokuja's case). If the player throws a weapon he will deflect the weapon by blocking it.
If he stands with both arms wide open in front of him, it means he will attempt to counter-attack, launching one of his two moves upon being hit.
Compared to other enemies, he can quickly escape grapples.
It's not a good choice to walk in front of him as he will quickly counterattack knocking you down several meters away.
In the elevator, if glasses are broken, the safest way to deal with them is to corner them, grabbing and wait they escape: by stepping back, they'll fall from the elevator. To attack them directly while being surrounded can result in dramatic life loss as they hurl you down from the elevator with their punches.

Trivia
- Goro's design and moves are reminiscent of both Ryo Sakazaki and Takuma Sakazaki from the Art of Fighting and King of Fighters series.
- Shared with Assassin Agents, Big Ben, Koobo, and the Commissioner, Goros are considered heavyweights.
- Dokuja's main attack resembles E. Honda's Hundred Hand Slap from Street Fighter and Ryo's Zanretsuken from Art of Fighting.
- As seen above the gallery, Goro was originally going to be a Super Sentai/Power Rangers-esque enemy before evolving into a karateka in a martial arts gi.
- He only has one palette swap, Dokuja, making him an enemy with the least palette swaps in game, alongside Koobo.
