I want it to happen too someday! Wanna make this a thread where we can share ideas for a 5th game?

Sure.

Yay Great! My ideas are mostly just concepts right now, but I am developing them. Here are current wants/hopes/ideas for a Streets of Rage 5! (sorry it took so long. I got distracted with other stuff)

• All the playable characters from 4 come back

• Both new and returning characters will be added!

Returning Characters

1. Skate (as an adult, would great to see him interact with Adam and his niece Cherry)

2. Roo (since he was a bartender in 4, would be awesome to play him again!)

3. Dr. Zan (it would be awesome to play him again, especially if it means we get to see him in a new HD design!)

4. Diva (Out of all the new characters from 4 and since she’s on the cover art, I feel it would be interesting to see Diva go through some form of a redemption arc)

New Characters Ideas (like I said, they’re currently concepts, so I need to figure out their characters and stories. Also since most of the characters follow the Yellow, Blue, Red color code, I thought it would be fun to make these new characters have an Orange, Green, Purple color code to be different)

1. A Filipina girl who is a friend to the Hunters

2. A Non-binary character who I’m writing to be somehow have Axel be an important figure in their backstory

3. A boy (around Floyd and Cherry’s ages but maybe one year older) wearing a concealing helmet after being fatally and severely injured in some sort of accident (not sure what kind yet) that Ms. Y indirectly caused

As for story, I imagine the Y Twins breaking out of prison, as well as recruiting some new villains and classic bosses from previous games alike. I’m also thinking of new villains to be regulars in future games (along with Y Twins)

These ideas are still in the concept stage but they’re what I want to see in a 5th game! I’ll probably expand on them as I figure them out.
